Bihar has seen much flip flop when it came to politics. CM Nitish Kumar won a mandate in 2015 with RJD and Congress but later resigned and shifted to BJP and took oath as an NDA ally. Despite being a single largest majority party RJD is sitting in Opposition.
If the 2014 LS election is to go by, it came as a shock to Nitish Kumar Out of 40 seats, BJP had a major chunk with 22 seats. The rest of the party was confined to single digits with LJP (6), RJD (4), RLSP (3) JDU and Congress 2 each.
