Not to forget the sense of humour in this movie is the real X factor. The movie revolves around a fluffy Panda taking on the monster tai lung a former student of Master Shifu who turned into an adversary. This looks nearly impossible in the initial hour as Tai Lung's martial arts prowess is no match for the Furious Five, led by Tigress. How the magical scroll proves decisive or inconsequential is the actual crux of the movie.
Ferdinand
This movie breaks the barrier that if a bull loses a fight he ends up in slaughterhouse. The baby Ferdinand who lost his father in a bullfight, was always against this notion. His heart remained docile despite his body turning robust in adulthood. His conflict with a bully herd ends in an accidental selection leaving the loser in the slaughterhouse. Ferdinand wins the heart of his companion and helps the herd flee the cowshed offering himself as a sacrificial goat against the sword-studded man in the penultimate fight. His noble gesture of not ripping apart the lone man in the arena from a dominating position earns him accolades, allowing him to return unscathed.
