Mumbai: Entering a whole new era of Indian television's most loved quiz based show, megastar Amitabh Bachchan welcomed audiences to the first day of shooting for Kaun Banega Crorepati themed on 'Sochna Padega,' with his signature warmth, humility, and laugh-out-loud honesty.
Addressing a slight delay on the very first day of recording for the new season, Big B made a grand, candid entrance immediately folding his hands to apologize to the audience before launching into a hilariously relatable conversation about tech checks, aging, and a sudden debate over his iconic eyewear.
Revealing the real reason behind his tinted glasses in true Big B fashion, the screen legend left the entire studio in splits with his witty take on growing older in front of the camera.
The hilarious interaction followed the megastar, Amitabh Bachchan revealing, “Sabse pehle haath jodkar maafi mangte hai, der hogai kyunki aaj yeh pehla recording hai, iss naye daur ka. Toh choti-moti cheezein joh set karne mai samay lagta hain.” (First of all, I fold my hands and apologize for the delay, but today is the very first recording of this new era. Addressing further, Big B also stated, “Phir koi bolega sir joh aapka chasma haina woh galat hai, humne kaha kya galat hai yaar, main pacchees saal se yahi to chasma pehen raha hu, bolein nahi Sir, usmein yellow-yellow aaraha hain, humne kaha haan use thoda sa tint kiya hai, nahi sir wo gadbad hojayga.
