Actor Bhumi Pednekar has strongly criticised a viral video showing a group of boys behaving inappropriately with a poster of a woman at a swimming pool, saying the incident reflects a disturbing mindset in society.
The actress shared the clip on her social media account and expressed outrage over the behaviour seen in the video. The footage, which has been circulating widely on social media, shows several young men touching and making obscene gestures towards a wall poster featuring a woman.

Reacting to the incident, Bhumi wrote, “Women not safe even on posters anymore as DISGUSTING pool video sparks massive outrage.”
She further slammed the mentality behind such actions and warned that this behaviour could lead to more serious crimes in the future.
“ This is the mentality of our youth. These are the same people that are going to go sexually assault children and women. We are in a pandemic and showing shame isn't enough. Stricter laws Stricter laws Stricter laws,” she wrote.
The viral clip, originally shared by a social media page called Tube India, has triggered widespread anger online. The caption accompanying the video stated that people were furious over men behaving obscenely with a wall painting of a woman at a swimming pool.
