Kangana Ranaut starrer Bharat Bhagya Vidhata to release on June 12
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film “Bharat Bhagya Vidhata” is all set for a theatrical release on June 12 with the makers unveiling the date along with a new poster dedicated to real-life acts of courage.
Based on true events, this thriller shifts the focus from weapons and violence to humanity and determination, especially within government hospitals, where ordinary people displayed extraordinary courage. The film depicts the extraordinary true story of hospital staff—nurses, ward boys, cleaners, elevator operators, security guards, and administrative staff—who steadfastly performed their duty in the face of armed threats. When the entire city was gripped by terror, these individuals not only fulfilled their duty but also ensured that humanity and the spirit of India prevailed.
Ranaut said, “We often celebrate superficial heroism, but true courage is quiet. It stands up, stands firm, and takes charge. Bharat Bhagya Vidhata is an untold story of courage, sacrifice, humanity, and unity. Of ordinary people who stood between terror and life. This is patriotism in its purest form. I am proud to be a part of this story and excited to bring it to audiences on the big screen on June 12th.”
Presented by Dr. Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios), Bharat Bhagya Vidhata is produced by Pen Studios, Manikarnika Films, and Parmansh Creations, in association with Eunoia Films LLP and Floating Rocks Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. The film is written and directed by Manoj Taparia, and will be distributed by Pen Marudhar.
Along with Ranaut, the film also stars Girija Oak, Smita Tambe, Amrita Namdev, Esha Dey, Priya Berde, Asha Shelar, Suhita Thatte, Rasika Agashe, Aditya Mishra and Zahid Khan.
