Lifetime-Free Credit Card Meets Smarter Rewards: CRED & IndusInd Bank Redefine Everyday Spending

CRED
Around 900 crore credit card reward points expire in India every month, underscoring a growing challenge in the country's rapidly growing credit card ecosystem. While cardholders continue to accumulate rewards on everyday spending, a significant portion of these points never translate into real value because redemption remains fragmented, time-consuming and often disconnected from how consumers actually spend.

CRED and IndusInd Bank have introduced a rewards experience designed to make redemption a natural part of everyday spending rather than a separate journey.

The CRED IndusInd Bank Credit Card enables members to redeem reward points at full value (1 point = Rs 1) across more than 500 brands that members already spend on, including Swiggy, Zepto, BookMyShow, Urban Company, Lenskart, ixigo and Apollo24x7.

Members can also redeem points on CRED Travel for flights and hotels and on CRED Store at full value. The experience extends to credit card bill payments on CRED, where members can redeem available reward points directly from the payment screen at 1 point = Rs 0.50.

By surfacing rewards at the moment they are most relevant, the experience eliminates the need to track points or navigate separate redemption platforms.

Members earn reward points through a straightforward earn structure:
  • Earn 5% value online: all online shopping, across merchants
  • Earn rewards offline: 1% on offline merchants and through UPI on CRED Scan and Pay

The card is currently available to a select set of whitelisted CRED members with a lifetime-free offer until the end of September.
