424 Bangladeshi Infiltrators Arrested in 24 Hours Under 'Operation Delta Hunt' in Gujarat

Making an official announcement on social media, the State Home Minister, Harsh Sanghavi, revealed that the Gujarat Police have apprehended 424 illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators within a mere 24 hours by conducting an intensive 'Special Drive.' The Home Minister delivered a stern message in unequivocal terms: any illegal activity that compromises the peace and security of Gujarat will not be tolerated. In accordance with the state government's 'zero-tolerance' policy, such strict action against anti-national elements will continue unabated in the days to come.
Police in 'Action Mode' Under 'Operation Delta Hunt'
'Operation Delta Hunt' has been launched by the Gujarat Police to further bolster the state's internal security and law-and-order situation. Under this operation, a total of 362 illegal Bangladeshi nationals have officially been arrested so far, while over 782 other suspects have been taken into custody for intensive interrogation. The administrative process to complete legal formalities against all the apprehended infiltrators and to deport (expel) them back to Bangladesh has also been expedited by the administration.
