The patient, who recently returned from an Ebola-affected African country, has been admitted to a special isolation ward at Ahmedabad Civil Hospital after showing symptoms linked to the virus.

According to official sources from the health department, the patient was screened immediately upon arrival at the airport. After displaying suspected Ebola-related symptoms during preliminary checks, the individual was shifted directly to an isolation facility without coming into contact with others. Blood samples have been sent to a specialized laboratory for detailed testing and confirmation.

11 Co-Passengers Placed Under Home Isolation
As a precautionary measure, health officials traced 11 other passengers who arrived on the same flight from Africa. All of them have been placed under strict home isolation to prevent any possible spread of the virus. Medical teams are monitoring them daily and have instructed them not to leave their homes during the quarantine period.

Special surveillance is being maintained for travelers arriving from African nations. Authorities have advised citizens to immediately contact government hospitals if they experience symptoms such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or extreme weakness after returning from abroad.
