Gujarat Police Recruitment 2026: Exam on August 23, Call Letters Available From August 17
The Gujarat Police Recruitment Board has made an important announcement for candidates appearing in the upcoming recruitment examinations. The board has confirmed that the written examination for various cadres will be conducted on August 23 in Ahmedabad.
Candidates appearing for the examination will be able to download their call letters from the official OJAS website starting at 2 p.m. on August 17.
The recruitment drive aims to fill several technical and non-technical positions in the Gujarat Police Department. The vacancies include:
- 172 posts of Police Sub-Inspector (Wireless)
- 698 posts of Technical Operator
- 35 posts of Police Sub-Inspector (Motor Transport)
- 45 posts of Head Constable Driver Mechanic Grade-I
Candidates who have applied for multiple recruitment categories will be allowed to appear for the examination at a single examination centre. The recruitment board has also published a list of such common candidates on its official website.
Applicants whose names are not included in the list can submit their representations to the board until 5 p.m. on August 10 for review.
