Morbi: SOG Arrests House Owner, Seizes Mephedrone Drugs in Navlakhi Road Raid
The Special Operations Group (SOG) carried out a major anti-drug operation in the Shraddha Society area on Navlakhi Road in Morbi, arresting a house owner and seizing 29.24 grams of mephedrone (MD) drugs during a raid.
The action was launched after the SOG team, while on routine patrol, received a tip-off that narcotic substances were being stored at the residence of Mayurbhai Babubhai Gogra. Acting swiftly on the intelligence, officers raided the premises and recovered the suspected contraband.

Drugs, Cash and Mobile Phone Seized
During the search, police recovered 29.24 grams of mephedrone, estimated to be worth around Rs.87,720 in the illegal market.

- A mobile phone worth Rs.10,000
- An electronic weighing scale, allegedly used to measure the narcotics

Accused Booked Under NDPS Act
Police arrested Mayurbhai Babubhai Gogra in connection with the case. An FIR has been registered against him at the Morbi B Division Police Station under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
The raid was conducted under the supervision of SOG Police Inspector R.C. Gohil.
Investigation Underway
Police are currently interrogating the accused to determine the source of the mephedrone and identify the intended recipients. Investigators are also probing whether the seized drugs were part of a larger narcotics distribution network.
