Jharkhand School Hostel Tragedy: Snake Bites 4 Students While Sleeping, 12-Year-Old Girl Dies
A 12-year-old girl lost her life while three other students were hospitalised after a venomous snake bit them inside a girls' hostel at a private residential school in Jharkhand's Lohardaga district, police said on Thursday.
The incident occurred late Tuesday night at Sanvasira Higher Secondary Residential School in Rocho Mahuatoli under the Kuru police station area.

According to police, the four girls were asleep in their hostel room after dinner when a snake entered the room around 11 pm.

Teachers rushed the injured students to Lohardaga Sadar Hospital. Doctors declared Varsha dead on arrival.
Kuru police station in-charge Ajit Kumar said two students are receiving treatment at Lohardaga Sadar Hospital, while Fulmania, whose condition remains critical, has been shifted to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi, for advanced medical care.
