Journalist, shot at in Ghaziabad succumbs in Yashoda Hospital

Ghaziabad:Vikram Joshi, who was shot at by unknown gunmen near his residence in Uttar Pradesh's on Monday night, died at a hospital, here on Wednesday.
He was travelling on a motorcycle with his two daughters when the gunmen fired at him around 1030 hours. The journalist was rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition was said to be critical. The incident was captured on a CCTV footage.Joshi was admitted to in Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad, where he succumbed to his injuries early Wednesday morning.
 
 
The incident took place days after he complained to the police against a group of men for harassing his neice. Nine accused have been arrested so far in the case. The station-in-charge, where Joshi had filed the  complaint, has also been suspended for not taking action over the complaint.(UNI)
