Karnataka: 15-year-old gang-raped by boyfriend, his 5 friends twice in 2 months; threatened with video
A minor girl was allegedly gang-raped by her boyfriend and his five friends and the incident was filmed by the accused in Belagavi district of Karnataka.
The victim lodged a police complaint on Saturday after the the accused repeatedly raped and threatened her with the video of the assault.
All accused are over 18 years old. Five people have been arrested in this connection while one is absconding.
According to police, somebody befriended her in December, and took her to a hilly area. He called some of his friends. She was raped by perpetrators in December. The accused videographed the act on their mobile and threatened her again of leaking the video in January and they raped her again.
"She didn't suffer any injuries. In both the incidents, there were 6 perpetrators. We have arrested 5 of them in less than 24 hours and one is absconding," the police official said.
