As per the alleged plan, Siya was to sit down at a designated moment, signaling Chetan that it was safe to act. Police say the sequence unfolded exactly as planned, leaving Ketan with no opportunity to react before he was pushed into the valley.
Both Accused Initially Shifted Blame
During interrogation, both Siya and Chetan reportedly attempted to distance themselves from the crime by accusing each other of being primarily responsible.
Police officials said such behavior is common in serious criminal investigations. However, as questioning progressed, investigators claim both eventually admitted their respective roles and provided a detailed account of how the alleged conspiracy was planned and executed.

Police say Siya and Ketan were engaged in February this year and the two families were preparing for a lavish wedding scheduled for November, reportedly involving private jets and palace venues.
According to investigators, Siya and Chetan allegedly chose not to elope because they feared social stigma and the reaction of their families. Instead, police claim they conspired to eliminate Ketan.
