The Congress on Sunday criticised Union Minister and BJP National President JP Nadda for continuing his speech even after a security personnel collapsed during the ‘Sardar@150 Unity March’ in Vadodara, Gujarat, on Saturday. The party accused the BJP of showing no sense of compassion or responsibility.Sharing a video of the incident on X, the Congress wrote:“While BJP President JP Nadda was delivering a speech in Gujarat, a security personnel fainted and fell to the ground.But neither Nadda paused his speech nor did any BJP leader on the stage step forward to help. This shows that BJP leaders lack even the slightest sense of empathy.Whether people suffer from pollution, youth struggle with unemployment, families battle inflation, or farmers are forced to commit suicide—BJP leaders and their governments remain indifferent.Its leaders, ministers, and governments are lost in their own world. According to reports, the commando is believed to have collapsed due to fatigue or physical exhaustion after standing for a long duration. Other security personnel rushed to his aid, shifted him to a safe area, and arranged medical assistance. Despite the situation, Nadda continued with his speech.
