V D Satheesan Thanks Congress Leadership After Being Named Kerala CM Candidate
Congress leader V D Satheesan on Thursday expressed gratitude to the party high command for entrusting him with the “huge responsibility” of being the chief ministerial candidate in Kerala.
Speaking to reporters, Satheesan thanked K C Venugopal for coordinating efforts of the All India Congress Committee and supporting party activities that contributed to the Congress’s strong performance in the Assembly elections.

He also acknowledged the role of senior leader Ramesh Chennithala, who served as the campaign committee chairman, crediting him for his contribution to the party’s victory and describing him as “my leader also.”
