Delhi Police Special Cell nabs Namastey Gang's Ikrar Ahmed

New Delhi:Delhi Police Special Cell apprehended Ikrar Ahmed, a dangerous robber who was facing charges under the stringent (MCOCA), in the early hours of Saturday.

Police sources said, "he was nabbed near the Tis Hazari Courts after a run in with the Special Cell team this morning."
 
Ahmed (36),  is a resident of  New Mustfabad, Delhi. Police also recovered a pistol and four live cartridges from the convict.
 
Along with being a member of infamous 'Namastey Gang', Ikrar was wanted in a case. Several cases of robberies were also attributed to his name in the national capital.Ahmed was also wanted in a case of murderous assault on a policeman in 2017.
 
"He has previously been involved in over two dozen criminal cases of robbery, snatching, robbery, Arms Act," the police said .(UNI)
