Mumbai: The city police on Thursday recovered around 10 tola of gold worth Rs 5 lakhs from the clutches of rats, which was dumped in a gutter near Gokuldham Colony in Goregaon area of city suburb by street children.Giving details, the police sub inspector Chandrakant Gharge, of Goregaon police station said a woman on her way to deposit jewellery in a bank gave it away to children on street, who mistaking it to be bread, threw it into a garbage dump.
