Muttiah Muralitharan discharged from hospital after angioplasty

Chennai: Former Sri Lankan offie was on Monday discharged from the hospital after successfully undergoing coronary angioplasty.

He was admitted to Apollo hospital here for on Sunday.
 
After the successful procedure, he was discharged from the hospital today evening.
 
A bulletin issued by Apollo hospital today said Muralitharan was admitted for cardiac evaluation yesterday.
 
He underwent successful coronary with stents under the care of Dr G Sengottuvelu, Senior Interventional Cardiologist.
 
He would resume his normal activities soon.
 
Muralitharan is in Chennai as part of the coaching staff of Sunrisers Hyderabad, which has been playing its initial IPL league matches here. (UNI)
