UP CM Yogi Adityanath Directs Financial Aid for Child Suffering From Thalassemia
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday directed officials to provide immediate financial assistance for the treatment of a child suffering from thalassemia.
The matter came up during the Chief Minister’s Janata Darshan, when Roli, a resident of Sitapur, arrived with her child despite heavy rain. She informed the Chief Minister about her child’s condition and said the family needed financial support for the treatment.
After hearing her plea, CM Yogi blessed the child and wished for a speedy recovery. He then instructed officials to immediately obtain an estimate of the treatment costs and initiate the process of providing financial assistance.
The Chief Minister assured Roli that lack of money would not come in the way of her child’s treatment. The required funds will be provided through the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund.
Reassured by the CM’s response, Roli expressed her gratitude to Yogi Adityanath.
During the Janata Darshan, the Chief Minister also interacted with other visitors and heard their grievances. He asked people about their problems and assured them that their concerns would be addressed.
Yogi Adityanath directed officials to ensure that all applications are resolved in a time-bound, quality-focused and satisfactory manner. He also instructed authorities to expedite matters related to police complaints, revenue issues, medical assistance, land encroachment and other public grievances.
The Chief Minister reiterated that people should not feel helpless or worried and that the administration must ensure timely action on their concerns. ALSO READ: UP Govt Tightens Action Against Milk Adulteration, Orders Strict Measures
