Panic in Pulwama as sentry open fire after observing suspicious movement

Srinagar: Panic gripped in Tahab area of Pulwama in south Kashmir district when a sentry guarding Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp opened fire, after observing some suspicious movement, official sources said here on Tuesay.
 
They said a sentry on the main gate of CRPF camp at Tahab fired several rounds in the air after observing suspicious movement on Monday night.
 
Security personnel in the camp also rushed out of their rooms towards the gate, they said adding panic also gripped in the nearby locality after hearing the firing shots.
 
Later, security forces and police personnel were rushed to the area from nearby camps and entire area was sealed. Later massive search operation was conducted for several hours. However, nothing was found in the area.(UNI)
