Skoda Kushaq launched in India, Showroom price 10.49 lakhs

Mumbai:Skoda Auto on Monday launched Skoda Kushaq in India at a starting price of Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom) nationwide.It arrives in a total of three variants namely Active, Ambition and Style .

The Skoda Kushaq is offered with a choice of two petrol engines a 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder TSI. While the former makes 113 bhp and 175 Nm of torque, the 1.5-litre engine offers 148 bhp on offer and 250 Nm of torque. Both get a 6-speed manual gearbox, whereas the automatic options include a 6-speed torque converter and a 7-speed DSG unit, respectively.

The Kushaq is the first SUV to be built on the company's new, India-specific MQB-A0 IN platform and the first model to be introduced under the India 2.0 project. The new Kushaq is being offered in 7 variants and is priced between Rs 10.49 lakh and Rs17.60 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

It is being offered in five colour options-- honey orange, tornado red, candy white, reflex silver and carbon steel.

SKODA AUTO India has announced various customer centric initiatives on the ownership front. Every KUSHAQ comes with 4 Years / 1,00,000 km warranty, which can be extended up to 6 years / 1,50,000 km. Additionally, SKODA will also offer 2 years parts warranty, 2 years battery warranty, 3 years paint warranty, 6 years corrosion warranty and extended roadside assistance programs up to 9 years.(UNI)
