Mumbai: The nationwide protest against the forthcoming movie “Padmavati” is intensifying day by day even after the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali assured that nothing objectionable has been shown in his movie about Padmavati. That’s not all, few days ago the main protesting organization Karni Sena warned that Deepika Padukone’s nose will be chopped off if the movie is released.
Now, a leader of Merrut has announced a bounty of 5 crore on the head of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Recently Deepika Padukone also lashed out at the protesters on Twitter. The nationwide protest may cost the producers if it is not released in some of the states like UP, where CM looks reluctant to give it a nod. However, the movie has also gained publicity from all these protests. (WD)
