New Delhi: Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee on Friday tested positive for the novel coronavirus.According to reports, the 51-year-old actor was currently shooting for his upcoming flick, Despatch.
The actor's team, in a statement, said that the film’s director, Kanu Behl, has also contracted the virus."The shoot has stopped and will resume in a couple of months. Bajpayee is on medication and recovering well. He is in self-quarantine at home and following all precautions,” the statement read.The film Despatch is an investigative crime thriller that is based on crime journalism.
He is the third person from the tinsel town to get infected with the novel coronavirus. Earlier the heartthrob on gen-next and star kid Ranbir Kapoor was also tested positive for COVID-19. Known for his historic flicks, Sanjay Leela Bhansali also infected with the same virus after the test results were confirmed. Thus The shooting of "Gangubai Kathiavadi" was postponed.(UNI)
