Mantra is Aladdin’s GENIE

RJ turned VJ turned actor Mantra who launched the trailer of his next High Jack with the entire crew of the film yesterday will be seen in the role of the iconic character of GENIE in the upcoming BookMyShow Broadway-style musical production of Disney’s Aladdin.  Mantra who has received several accolades as a theatre actor, television presenter, radio jockey, model and voice over artist will enchant the audiences with his powerful voice, taking them straight into the magical world of Agrabah.

With the love for the character he plays of Genie, he says, "I am extremely excited to play Genie in Disney’s Aladdin and do justice to this phenomenal role. Genie, as a character, is certainly a crowd favourite and through this magnificent production, I am representing this contemporary character in a classic setting. Through the show, my character Genie has some iconic moments on stage that will leave the audience mesmerized!"

The spectacular musical will premiere at Mumbai’s National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in April 2018.
