Simran and Lucknow central get poor opening

Saturday, 16 September 2017 (15:05 IST)
Mumbai: There were lots of movies in fray to release this week, but the main competition was between Kangana Ranaut’s Simran and Farhan Akhtar’s Lucknow Central.
The opening collection of both the movies are disappointing. However Simran is a bit ahead of Lucknow central but collections of both the movies are quite low.

Simran has earned 2.77 crore on the opening day. The movie has performed better in Multiplexes. Kangana’s acting has been hailed by critics but the story creates boredom.

While Lucknow central earned 2.04 crore on Friday. Despite Farhan, Diana Penty and other actors, the movie has failed to drag audience at box office.

Now, Saturday and Sunday become quite important for both the movies. That’s not all, India Vs Australia match on Sunday will also affect the collections of both the movies on Sunday. (WD)
