COVID-19-linked curbs lifted in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan issued a directive on Wednesday for lifting of novel coronavirus-related restrictions in the state but certain precautions shall continue to be exercised, it was officially learnt.

The decision was taken here at a review meeting attended by Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Prabhuram Choudhary, Medical Education Minister Vishvas Sarang, senior officers of the Home and Health departments. Related orders will shortly be communicated by the General Administration and Home departments. Mr Chouhan also told officials to accelerate the vaccination campaign.
