New Delhi:Former prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh, admitted to the AIIMS after he developed a febrile reaction to a new medication on Sunday night, was discharged on Tuesday. According to sources, Dr Singh was discharged at around 1245 hrs from the AIIMS and is now taking rest at home.
He was shifted to the private ward on Monday as he improved and was keeping stable.The veteran Congress leader, who was admitted to AIIMS on Sunday night at 2045 hours, was kept under observation at the Cardiothoracic department ward where necessary medical investigations were done.
He was admitted to the premier medical institution after he developed a febrile reaction to a new medication, the sources added.
Dr Singh was admitted under Dr Nitish Nayak and team who observed him and conducted required investigations including that of COVID-19, for which he tested negative.(UNI)
