New Delhi: Former President Pranab Mukherjee is in a state of deep coma and continues to remain on ventilator support, the Army Research and Referral Hospital said here on Saturday.
As per the official statement from the hospital, he is being treated for a respiratory infection. His vitals are stable with no change in health condition, the hospital said.
Mr Mukherjee, 84, was admitted to the R&R hospital on August 10 and had to undergo an emergency life saving brain surgery after the discovery of a clot.He had earlier tested positive for COVID-19.(UNI)
