This husband created a “My Wife’s Murder” like plot after murder

New Delhi: The murder case of a 34-year-old woman took an interesting turn on Thursday, when her husband confessed to his involvement in the killing. According to DCP North Delhi Milind Mahadeo Dumbere, accused Pankaj Mehra (39) confessed during interrogation that he shot his wife in the car and later made a story out of nowhere, to mislead police. He also said that he had borrowed Rs 40 lakh from a Sonipat-based moneylender and was unable to pay him back. The accused tried to kill two birds with one arrow, by shooting his wife and later claiming that it was a handiwork of the lender, who wanted to kill him for not repaying the amount.
