New Delhi/Lucknow, Feb 11 (UNI) Responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'raincoat ' jibe at former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi today said the PM can do whatever he likes whether it is reading people’s horoscopes or peeping into bathrooms but this election will give him a befitting reply.
Addressing a joint press conference with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to release the common manifesto of Congress and Samajwadi Party, Mr Gandhi said, 'He (Modi) likes to rake up people’s janam patris, he only knows how to Google things, he likes to peek into bathrooms.
Let him do that…this election will give him a befitting reply.
' Mr Modi had on Wednesday said in the Rajya Sabha that the former prime minister knows the art of taking a bath wearing a raincoat.
“Bathroom mein raincoat pehen kar ke nahana, yeh kala to Doctor Saab hi jaante hain aur koi nahin jaanta hai (Only Dr Saab knows the art of bathing while wearing a raincoat in the bathroom),” the Prime Minister had said in his reply to debate on motion of thanks to the President 's address.
