Bhavnagar receives Rs 738 crore for 79 development projects

At a program dedicated to development projects held at Bhavnagar's Jhaverchand Meghani Auditorium, a simple and heartfelt remark by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel became the center of discussion. However, in the presence of sanitation workers, he jokingly asked, "Is this the same cleanliness every day, or was there a special cleaning today because I was coming?" This remark from the CM sparked laughter again among the officials, officers, and citizens present at the event. The Chief Minister emphasized that cleanliness should not be solely the responsibility of the Municipal Corporation or sanitation workers, but rather should be linked to the values ​​of citizens.

Bhavnagar receives 79 development works worth Rs 738.09 crore
Under the "Seva, Sankalp, and Samarpan" campaign, 79 development works worth ₹738.09 crore were inaugurated in Bhavnagar city and district. This included the inauguration of the new state-of-the-art District Collector's Office, built at a cost of ₹33 crore. Furthermore, various works worth ₹621.63 crore under the Municipal Corporation, along with several projects of the Roads, Buildings, and Panchayat departments, were e-inaugurated and e-Khatmuhurat.

Emphasis on Natural Farming, Health Awareness, and "Development as Well as Heritage"
In his address, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel mentioned the increasing risk of diseases like heart attacks and diabetes at a young age. He called for promoting cow-based natural farming. Union Minister of State Nimuben Bambhaniya mentioned the Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway and the ₹650 crore bridge project approved for Bhavnagar, calling them crucial for the city's development. Minister in-charge Kaushik Vekaria, MLA, Collector Dr. Manish Bansal, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr. N.K. Meena along with officials, officers and a large number of residents of Bhavnagar were present at the programme.
