Volkswagen India expands Hyderabad aftersales network with new workshop
Volkswagen India expanded its aftersales footprint in Hyderabad with the inauguration of a new Volkswagen Deccan workshop at the IDA Uppal Industrial Area in the city.In a release, the company said the new facility is aimed at strengthening its aftersales presence in one of its key South Indian markets and enhancing accessibility and customer service.
While the adjoining showroom has the capacity to display eight vehicles, the workshop is equipped with 23 service bays and is supported by a workforce of 75 service personnel and 42 sales executives.The facility will offer a range of aftersales services, including Express Service, Mobile Service Unit support and Volkswagen Assistance.
With the addition of the new workshop, Volkswagen India’s network in Hyderabad has expanded to six sales touchpoints and five workshops.
Across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the company now operates 23 sales touchpoints and 13 workshops.Commenting on the expansion, Nitin Kohli, Brand Director, Volkswagen India, said Hyderabad continues to be a key market for the company and the new workshop would enable faster, more convenient and reliable service for customers.
He added that Volkswagen now has 272 touchpoints across India and remains focused on delivering a high-quality ownership experience.Nihar Mody, Managing Director, Volkswagen Deccan, said the new facility is backed by trained personnel and enhanced service capabilities to provide an efficient and customer-centric ownership experience.
He said the dealership looks forward to supporting Volkswagen’s growth across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra and Goa.The company said the expansion is part of its broader strategy to strengthen its nationwide aftersales ecosystem by bringing quality service and support closer to customers.
