Mumbai: Acclaimed television personality Ekta Kapoor on Saturday lodged a robbery complaint for Rs 60,000 with the Juhu Police Station here,sources revealed on Thursday. A case under section 379 (punishment for theft) has been registered and investigation is underway accordingly.
As of now, five persons who are domestic workers in the residence of Ekta Kapoor have been questioned in the case. The police have also checked footage of the CCTV cameras which keep an eye on Ekta Kapoor's bungalow.
 
However, no clue to the missing amount has been found yet.According to the reports, Ekta Kapoor came to know about the alleged theft when she checked the stash of Rs 1.5 lakh she was carrying in her purse.(UNI)
