Nani’s The Paradise Gets Massive Slum Set Across Several Acres

Nani starrer The Paradise
Telugu star Nani’s upcoming action drama ‘The Paradise’ is creating an expansive cinematic world with a massive slum settlement constructed across several acres. The elaborate set has been designed to give the film a raw, authentic and lived-in look.

Directed by Srikanth Odela, the film marks another collaboration between Nani and the filmmaker. The teaser has already generated buzz with its intense action sequences, striking visuals and glimpses of the film’s ambitious production design.

Massive Slum Set Built for ‘The Paradise’

According to a source close to the production, the makers spent months searching for a suitable location because no studio reportedly had enough space to accommodate a set of this scale.

The production team eventually constructed a sprawling slum settlement spread across several acres. The goal was to make the environment look as realistic and natural as possible rather than like a conventional film set.

To achieve this level of authenticity, the makers reportedly brought in experts who visited slum settlements in different parts of India. Their research focused on understanding the architecture, surroundings, everyday life and finer details that could help recreate the environment convincingly on screen.

A Massive Arch Forms the Centrepiece

One of the most striking elements of the set is a huge arch that serves as the centrepiece of the settlement. It also doubles as the home of Nani’s character in the film, with the sprawling slum built around it.

The scale of the set is expected to play an important role in establishing the atmosphere and visual identity of ‘The Paradise’.

‘Aaya Sher’ Gains Popularity

Meanwhile, the film’s song ‘Aaya Sher’, featuring Nani, has been receiving a strong response from audiences. The song’s hook step has caught on across social media, with fans creating reels, edits and dance videos inspired by the track.

The growing popularity of the song has further increased anticipation for the film ahead of its theatrical release. ALSO READ: Raghav Juyal set to share screen with Nani in 'The Paradise'

Produced by SLV Cinemas, ‘The Paradise’ is scheduled to arrive in theatres on August 21, 2026. The film is set to release in eight languages — Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, English, Spanish, Bengali, Kannada and Malayalam.

With the film targeting audiences beyond India, the producers have reportedly approached Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds to present ‘The Paradise’ in international markets.

With its large-scale sets, multilingual release and ambitious action-drama format, ‘The Paradise’ is shaping up to be one of Nani’s most expansive projects yet.
