Government Issues Notice to Meta Over Child Sexual Abuse Material in Instagram Ads
The Central government has issued a strong notice to Meta over the alleged presence of Child Sexual Exploitative and Abuse Material (CSEAM) in paid advertisements on Instagram.

Citing sources, PTI report says the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has instructed Instagram to disable all advertisements and content that promote or facilitate access to child sexual exploitative and abuse material.
The ministry has also sought a detailed explanation from Meta, asking the company to respond within seven days regarding the measures it has taken to address the issue.
