In a major reshuffle, 4 IPS appointed & 6 SP transferred in Gujarat
The Home Department of the Gujarat government has issued orders for the transfer and appointment of 10 officers in the police department with the aim of strengthening law and order in the state. Under this order, four young IPS officers from the 2023 and 2024 batches have been appointed, while six senior officers from the State Police Service (SPS) have been transferred.

Mausam Mehta: Deodar (Vav-Thrad)
Prakash Kumar: Khambhalia (Devbhoomi Dwarka)
Karankumar Panna: Limkheda (Dahod)
Six Senior SPS Officers Transferred to SRPF
Six senior SPS officers, awaiting posting after promotion, have been appointed to Commandant and ex-cadre positions in various groups of the State Reserve Police Force (SRPF). The notification was issued in the name of the Governor, signed by Sanjeev Kumar, Principal Secretary, Home Department.
