Kapil Dev, Gavaskar, Sidhu invited for Imran's oath-taking ceremony
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has invited Indian cricket icons Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev and Navjot Sidhu to Prime Minister-in-waiting Imran Khan's oath-taking ceremony.
Mr Khan, who started his career as a professional cricketer and earned a great name, also invited the members of the Pakistan cricket team which had won the cricket World Cup under his captaincy in 1992, a report in Pakistan daily The News International quoted PTI Central Additional Information Secretary Faisal Javed Khan as saying.
PTI chief Khan will take the oath from Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain on August 18.(UNI)
