Five more tested positive for COVID-19 in Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram: Five more people, including three Keralites, who had returned from Italy have tested positive for Coronavirus in the state, Health Minister KK Shailaja said on Sunday.
Talking to newspersons after holding an emergency meeting with top officials at the Health Directorate, the Minister said among the five people, two are their relatives who came in close contact with them.
All the five are in the isolation ward in General Hospital in Pathanamthitta district, she added.
Though there is no panic situation in the wake of new five positive cases, we should be more alert against the spread of the virus due to our own negligence, the Minister said. (UNI)
