India Will Never Bow to Terror, Says PM Modi on Pahalgam Attack Anniversary

PM Narendra Modi
Marking the first anniversary of the Pahalgam terror attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday reaffirmed India’s firm stance against terrorism, declaring that the nation will never succumb to terror and that such sinister acts will ultimately fail.

The attack, carried out by Pakistan-based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, claimed the lives of 26 innocent people, most of them tourists from different parts of the country.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the victims, saying, “Remembering the innocent lives lost in the gruesome Pahalgam terror attack on this day last year. They will never be forgotten.”

He also extended his condolences to the grieving families, acknowledging their enduring pain and loss.

“As a nation, we stand united in grief and resolve. India will never bow to any form of terror. The heinous designs of terrorists will never succeed,” Modi said.

Following the attack, India launched a retaliatory military operation, Operation Sindoor, targeting terror camps and military infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
