New Delhi: Attacking the NDA government on huge pendency of cases in various courts and huge vacancies of judges in High Courts and lower courts, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said legal system was collapsing under pending cases.
In a post on social media, Mr Gandhi, took a dig at Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on huge vacancies in High Courts and lower courts, saying, 'A staggering 400 High Court and 6,000 Lower Court judges not appointed, while Law Minister preoccupied peddling fake news.''Legal system collapsing under Pending Cases: Supreme Court 55,000 + High Court 37 Lakh + Lower Courts 2.6 Crore + Yet, a staggering 400 High Court and 6,000 Lower Court judges not appointed, while Law Minister preoccupied peddling fake news,' he posted on Twitter.(UNI)
