Now, Muslims want reservation
Aurangabad: Various Muslims organisations, NGOs and other Ulemas on Tuesday sought to implement reservation in Education and Government services to the minority community across the state.
Addressing a press conference here, Mohsin Ahmed, among other Muslim prominent leaders, said the state government should take a decision to implement reservation, as per earlier announcement to the minority community within eight days, otherwise Muslims will intensify their stir.
“On this issue, we are going to meet the Divisional Commissioner, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and others soon,” he added.
A number of Muslim organisations had agitated for the implementation of Rangnath Mishra Commission, Sacchar Committee and the Mehmood-Ur-Rehman committee finding report. (UNI)
