Omar ‘hopes’ Imran invites Modi to oath-taking ceremony, latter accepts it

Srinagar: Former J&K chief minister hoped that Prime Minister attends the of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s chief Imran Khan.
Mr Abdullah said that if Nawaz Sharif, the then Prime Minister of Pakistan, could attend the oath-taking ceremony of Mr Modi in 2014, surely the Indian PM can do the same in 2018, if invited by Imran.
He was reacting to reports that (PTI) is considering inviting Mr Modi to Mr Khan’s oath-taking ceremony.
“I hope he does & I hope PM Modi accepts. If Nawaz Sharif could attend in 2014 surely Modi ji can do the same in 2018,” the Vice-President of National Conference (NC) wrote on micro-blogging site Twitter. (UNI)
