PM Modi and HM Shah pays tributes to martyrs and families of forces on Police commemoration day

New Delhi:Prime Minister on Monday paid tributes to the policemen who laid their lives in the line of duty and the police force for their service for the country.On the occasion of Police Commemoration day, the Prime Minister remembered with pride those bravehearts of police forces who got martyred in the line of duty.
He further said, ''The courage displayed by the police forces motivates us as they perform their duties with utmost diligence.''
Taking to micro blogging site twitter, PM Modi said, ''We salute our police forces, their families and remember with pride those brave police personnel martyred in the line of duty today on Police Commemoration Day. Our police personnel perform their duties with utmost diligence. Their courage always motivates us.''
 
Union Home Minister on Monday paid rich tributes to the police martyrs at the National Police Memorial here.Lauding the roles of the police forces, Mr Shah said that the government has planned several measures for the welfare of the police personnel.
 
''When we see police work in a normal way, it looks usual but when we change the perspective we understand that the development strides our country is taking is due to the dedicate and silent service of these policemen,"Mr Shah added.
 
''Be it protecting the country or maintaining a peaceful atmosphere, our policemen have always played an important role, and they are ready to serve the country even in the most difficult circumstances,'' the Home Minister said.
 
''I bow to the  indomitable courage and patriotism the of the police personnel,'' Mr Shah said, adding that the kind of valor and courage with which our policemen serve the country inspires everyone.He also expressed his gratitude to the kin of the police personnel on behalf of the entire nation.(UNI)
