Sensex surges by 272.15 pts
Mumbai: The benchmark index of Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday rallied by 272 point 15 points to 34,414.30 in opening trade tracking postive cue from Asian peers.The Nifty of National Stocks Exchange (NSE) to rose by 80.80 points to 10,571.85. The sensex registered intra day high and low at 34,435.06 and 34,225.72 respectively.The Nifty recorded intra day high and low at 10,578.70 and 10,520.20 respectively.
All Sectoral indices were in the green, led by healthcare, bank, metal and realty stocks in opening trade.The gainers were IndusBank by 3.05 pc to Rs 1692.95, Tata Motors by 2.75 pc to Rs 370.50, L & T by 2.57 pc to Rs 1335.85 and Adani ports by 2.46 pc to Rs 416.The losers were Dr Reddy's Lab by 1.54 pc to Rs 2135.85, Sun Pharma by 1.54 pc to Rs 561.40, Infosys by 0.81 pc to Rs 1146.25 and TCS by 0.71 pc to Rs 3055.10.(UNI)
