According to a report in Economic Times, spokesperson SK Tijarawala said that we want to make Patanjali a global brand and that is why we are considering sponsoring the IPL. Market experts believe that if the sponsor of IPL becomes Patanjali, it will gain greater recognition globally. However, big celebrities are seen in the promotion of many of Patanjali's products.
Following the departure of Vivo, companies like Jio, Amazon, Tata Group, Dream 11, and are also showing interest in the title sponsorship of the IPL. The BCCI said that for the new sponsor of IPL-13, complete transparency and procedure will be followed. BCCI is going to remove ITB soon. The tender process will be followed to choose a sponsor, as the board wants transparency. The winner of the auction under the Invitation Bid will be the sponsor of the 13th season of the IPL to be held in the UAE from 19 September to 10 November in the UAE.
