Kolkata model turns off comment section after criticism over her towel dance at India Gate
A video of a Kolkata-based model Sannati Mitra dancing in a towel in front of Delhi's iconic India Gate has caused outrage on the internet. Following criticism, she has now turned off the comment section of the post.
Dressed in a white towel and slippers, Mitra was seen lip-syncing to song ‘Mere Khwabon Me Jo Aaye’ from the Bollywood movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, attracting a crowd that included children. In the clip, she even briefly opens her towel. Mitra's video seems to be inspired by a scene featuring Kajol dancing in a towel in her room.
Mitra captioned the video on Instagram: "Happy International Men's Day. May you all continue to inspire and motivate others with your courage, kindness, and empathy."
