Mumbai: Man held for shooting prank video on railway track, later released on bail
Mumbai: A local railway court on Friday granted bail to a youth for allegedly posting a social media video of himself while performing a prank on the tracks near the Andheri station.
The accused has been identified as Arman Kayyum Shaikh (21).
According to the Railway Police, Shaikh usually posts prank videos on social media platforms especially on Instagram.
In a video that he uploaded on Tuesday and which went viral, Shaikh is seen walking on the railway track between Andheri and Jogeshwari stations by pointing a fake gun to his head.
With the act, the accused violated the COVID norms and also flouted the railway rules by trespassing into its property, officials said.
An FIR under IPC section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and sections 147 and 151 of the Railways Act has been registered against him. (UNI)
