SHOCKING! Blade found inside Dettol soap in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior, 10-year-old injured while bathing
A shocking incident has come to light in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, where a 10-year-old child got seriously injured by a blade inside Dettol soap. When the kid’s father went to the nearby shop and brought another soap, a blade was found in it as well.
The incident took place in Anand Nagar Bahodapur area of Gwalior. On the evening of May 26, when 10-year-old Ansh returned home after playing, his mother asked him to take a bath. He picked up a Dettol soap and went to take a bath. As soon as he applied the soap on his face, he felt a sharp prick. Soon, blood started flowing from his cheek. The boy came out crying and took his father to the bathroom. When the father checked, he found a blade inside the soap.
The father immediately rushed to the grocery store and informed about the incident. The shopkeeper first expressed surprise and then replaced the soap. When this soap was used with water at home, a blade was found in it as well. Angry over the incident, the father lodged a complaint on the National Consumer Helpline and filed a case in the Consumer Forum.
He said that this negligence could have even cost someone's life, so strict action is necessary.
