Actor Manoj Bajpayee tests negative for COVID-19

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee who was found infected with COVID-19 on March 12, has tested negative for it, actor’s team said on Sunday.

The shooting for the 51-year-old actor’s upcoming flick, Despatch, was stopped following him and director, Kanu Behl contracting the virus.

“He [Bajpayee] will most likely resume the shooting for the film from June,” reports quoting family sources said.

The film Despatch is an investigative crime thriller that is based on crime journalism.

Last week, Bajpayee bagged the most prestigious 67th National Film Award for his role in film “Bhonsle”. (UNI)
